I was supposed to create this space ages ago, after Hari Raya Aidifitri to be exact. But somehow or rather things got in the way. So, if you have forgotten what this thing is all about, let me put this down here and now. Yeah, I know it takes ages to reach the last page. That is the reason why I have assigned each person to read 1 chapter. We begin with Ma. Oooopss...she's gone, dissipated into another world that perhaps Go, Pu and Mo can provide us with further news on her whereabouts.
The next person available is Ik. Ik is going to read for us chapter 1 and then summarizes that chapter highlighting any important events or important speech. We will go down the list until we reach Nul who will read for us chapter 50.
Great stuffs huh? Enjoy

Covering and Clothing
Woo....wee....
A naked woman in the sea!
Don't worry people. I am not forcing you to stare at anyone's nakedness.
But, that is what we are presented with at the end of the story: no clothes.....no life....
In contrast, all throughout the narrative, the females are draped with layers and layers of cloth. Identify these female and their layers. Why do you think Chopin presented us with different arrays of female fashion?

It's all about Edna.
The Awakening, when it was published in 1899, was denounced and banned from bookstores and library shelves. Now, The Awakening has an important and permanent place in the American literature. I am puzzled here.. Can anyone help me out. Clear this cobwebs in my brain and clarify to me why is there such extreme reactions between now and then?
